Great VANITY FAIR  Print  by 'LIBERIO PROSPERI (LIB)  -  1894.05.03  - The Earl of SEFTON -  Owner of Croxteth Hall,  Lord Lieutenant of Lancs,  Born 1835, and educated Eton, joined Grenadier Guards, built the Grand Stand at Aintree, owns half Liverpool'. Coloured by chromo-lithography, an arduous Victorian method of printing using several limestone blocks.  Lower left : Vincent Brooks Day & Son. Lith.; Titled: The Earl of Sefton.   Liborio Prosperi, known as 'LIB'.was a famous caricaturist for Vanity Fair Mazagine and his prints are harder to find.   Condition: Very good with old tape residue present at the top.

Lith.; Titled: South Longford.  Print by Leslie Ward, the most famous caricaturist for Vanity Fair Mazagine, known as 'SPY'.  Condition: Very good with some old tape residue present at top.
