A Pair of Jacob Petit Black-Ground Flower-Encrusted Scent Bottles and Stoppers - 1860's - of tear-drop form, the bulging bodies encrusted with garden flowers on a black ground, on a circular gilt foot; a gilt band at the neck; the stoppers as bouquets. The bases marked with J.P. in underglaze blue. Condition: Some losses to flowers; leafage.

19th Century German Bisque Figural Group Volkstedt
Fine Antique German Bisque Figural Group with Gilt Details - 19th c. - Volkstedt - Two Classical Figures, the larger dressed in pale pink toga-style garb, holding a plate, the smaller figure dressed in Egyptian style garb, long robes with a head covering and holding what appears to be a mirror. The irregular shaped base with the "hayforks' mark in underglaze blue. Condition: Excellent, except under magnification, the object held in the right arm appears to have a slight chip at the end, that in no way disturbs the integrity of the piece.

ORIGINAL ART DECO GILT FIGURAL ARCHITECTUAL ELEVATOR ELEMENT 1920'S
An Original Art Deco Nude Figural Architectural Elevator Decoration - 1920'S - It was common for decorations such as this to flank the elevator door surround in the space above the elevator bank in Department Stores, Banks and Office Buildings. Iron with a brass coating, nicely detailed with two nude female figures, stamped with the number 745 on the back and heavy. Condition: Very good as would be commensurate with age and use, no repairs, cracks, etc.
